Violence

I want to point out that we as humans were born with a distinct nature of violence within us all, weather it be to protect yourself, your fellow human, your offspring, or some higher cause (we all have it)!

As humans we must show civility and have a moral code within which we operate as a culture and society.  But there will come a time in everyone’s life where they will encounter violence; everybody will experience it at least once!  So we have to learn how to use violence and control it within ourselves and have the ability to be able to use it when necessary.

Well lets go into the flight or fight response, we all have it as humans, now some people are numb to this response and some people feel it very strong within them!  When you are faced with this issue your brain makes a split second decision and it will determine if you will be capable to defend yourself or others.  When the flight of fight response is triggered this is what your body reaction will be:

- Acceleration of the heart and lungs
- Paling or flushing can alter between both
- Your stomach and upper-intestinal will get to the point of where your digestion slows or stops
- Constriction of  blood vessels in the body
- Release of metabolic energy
- Blood vessels will dilate
- Inhibition of the lacrimal gland (inability to tear or salivate)
- Dilation of pupil
- Release of the bladder
- Inhibition of erection
- Loss of hearing
- Tunnel vision (loss of vision)
- Severe Shaking

Now I am going to say that traditional martial arts and sport martial art are wonderful, I am not here to degrade them in any way, but they just do not work in a real life or death fight situation.  Now there are master of these arts that would be able to utilize the moves taught to win a violent fight, but a new to intermediate student would not be able to do this.  One should look into what is taught in the Special Forces and government facilities, these tactics are violent in nature and they are nothing like any type of Martial Arts!  I highly recommend Tim Larkin!

So as human’s violence is all around us and we need to make ourselves aware and prepared for all situations, the person that thinks (The person who thinks it cannot happen to me is the very person it will happen to) Ignorance is not bliss, Ignorance will get you into serious trouble!  Like I said I am not here to say that Martial Arts are not a great thing to know and practice!
